so whats wrong with buying gold. there are so many sites that sell it. If it's wrong, why doesn't anet shut them down or ban their accounts. all my friends buy gold but nothing ever happens to them. where does it say it's wrong. I don't see it in the EULA.

They do shut them down, but tracking every single rule-breaker is impossible.

Then go ahead and buy it. Buy all you want and bathe in the satisfaction that you cheated instead of earning your gold. And don't forget to tell A-net that you bought the gold because you saw nothing that said you couldn't.
